The children of the mountains

Follow silent feet
Looking at the guilty
Who gave them poisoned meat …!

And the ghostly cry of their graves
 "Twenty-four dead say, a"

(24-dead like that, in l999)
Like now, their parents parade
For justice! … On the streets of Peru.

Note: In l999, 24 children were poisoned, and died from bad food they had eaten, and the culprits have to this date (10/22/2005) have not been brought to justice by the Peruvian authorities. So this poem is dedicated to children and their parents. # 903
